The numbers sold doubled what was offered at the previous sale.
According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service the yarding was made up of predominantly heavy weight lambs coming off crops or from feedlots with very small numbers of light lambs or mutton available.
All the regular field of buyers were present and operated in a weaker market.
Trade weight lambs were limited with most pens easing around $5/head. Medium weights sold from $176 to $180 and heavy trade, 22 to 24kg, made from $188 to $206/head.
Urgency for heavy weight lambs was not apparent with prices easing $9 across the run selling from $200 to $214/head.
Producers were keen to offload finished lambs suiting the export processors, however, occasional pens were passed in the processors not reaching expectations.
Lambs weighing between 26 and 30kg sold from $215 to $245 and the over 30kg lambs reached up to $293/head with close to 50kg averaging 719c/kg cwt.
Restockers took home most of the small offering of unfinished lambs paying from $145 to $150/head.
Merino lambs eased $10 to $15 with heavy weights selling from $188 to $226 and trade weights made from $136 to $194/head.
Mutton was limited and mixed quality with heavy cross bred ewes making from $180 to $214 to average 611c/kg cwt and heavy merino ewes reached $213/head.
