The agreement will see the under 16s align with Wagga Kangaroos while the under 18s side form a partnership with Junee, but the teams will still don the colours of the Blueheelers.
Yenda president Sam Panarello welcomed the news which will help all involved.
"If they have some guys around, we will try and fit them in," he said.
"It is their competition, we are just trying to give our guys an avenue to play rugby league and because the coaches are keen on supporting that we have to support them.
"The easy option would have been to walk away because it is too hard and it is difficult, but we are aware that we want to keep rugby league alive and want to keep the kids playing."
Panarello knows there will still be challenges ahead for the side with their nearest games being in Wagga, but he knows it is essential to keep the young talent in the club improving and a temporary move to Group Nine will help in their development.
"We have a few talented kids, and if they don't play at all they are going to lose so much ground with playing at a higher level against kids that are playing, so it is important that we keep trying to develop them," he said.
"We are only considering the eight weeks if we make finals, that is a bonus. It's pretty tough over there, so I don't imagine it will be a walk in the park."
Luke Farmer and Dean Piva will lead the under 16s while Nigel Plum and Steve Serafin will take charge of the under 18s side.
"It will be driven by the players, and so far the numbers at training have been good so it looks like it could be a success," he said.
With connections with the clubs, Panarello is hopeful that the partnership will work for both parties.
"Terry and Maxine McFarlane have family in Junee which gives us a tie to that town and Plummy (Nigel Plum) is a Kangaroos junior," he said.
