The refuge - operated by Linking Communities Network (LCN) - saw two purpose-built units built in May thanks to funding from the state government, with the insides furnished through Griffith Avanti's donation in conjunction with support from local businesses.
LCN's deputy CEO Kirrilly Salvestro said the donation was "very helpful" as it allows women leaving domestic violence situations to feel comfortable in new surroundings during a difficult time.
"Being able to come into a furnished environment where they can just come in and be safe and their kids have somewhere to make a home makes all the difference for someone who has experienced DV," Ms Salvestro said.
"The ability for them to live independently while still having the support on site helps their healing journey.
"Without the clubs like Avanti ... [issues like] the personal items that women don't have or no access to money and when they're experiencing DV - just not having that lowers their self esteem even more so if we can provide that with thanks to the club, that helps women and children a lot."

The boost represents the major donation from the organisation for their financial year, with another $10,000 in funds due to be split across a number of other groups and services such as the city's PCYC and Kalinda School.
Rotary Club of Griffith Avanti president Vicki Stonestreet said the club members showed enthusiasm for the donation when it came time to decide what groups they would be providing donations to.
"All the members have a say where they would like the money to go," Ms Stonestreet said.
"Avanti demonstrated that they're all for [helping] the new unit."
The club intends to hand over more donations to other groups and organisations in the coming weeks.
If you, or someone you know, is experiencing domestic or family violence, multiple services are available to provide immediate support.
