It's council's second meeting for the month and will be via video conferencing.
The proposed service station is located opposite Bunnings and is expected to bring the United brand to the city for the first time. The land previously an orange orchard.
Two submissions have been received from residents, and the application was first lodged with council in July 2019.
Progress on the application has stalled as further information was sought from the developer and council staff have recommended the application be approved.
The second application to be determined is for a modification of a rural supplies building to stage the construction of buildings and modify other conditions of consent.
The proposal relates to proposed TerraAg Services building and the application is to stage the construction of the development.
Council staff have recommended the application be approved.
Staff have also recommended that councillors vote to endorse Griffith Can Assist operating the City 2 Lake Fun Run for two years from 2021.
Can Assist was the only charity which presented an submission to an expressions of interest process which council decided to run in April.
Councillors will also vote on whether they will adopted the budget for the next financial year.
The budget contains additional measures to ease the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, with a rebate for the rate increase on July 1, relief for fees paid by businesses and a community grant program.
A report from the Murray Darling Association will be received, and council is also expected to endorse minutes from the Lake Wyangan Catchment Management and the Traffic committees.
