Murrumbidgee Local Health District's mobile testing van will be stopping in Yenda, Hanwood and Griffith on Thursday and Friday.
MLHD says testing is key to help minimising the risk of community transmission of the virus.
"Testing rates in the Griffith region are significantly lower than those across other areas in our District," MLHD's COVID co-ordinator Emma Field said.
"We understand that Griffith and surrounds has a diverse community, and it's not always possible to get to the clinics during the opening hours, so we are bringing this mobile clinic to people Griffith, Hanwood and Yenda to enable people to get tested more."
Anyone who has respiratory symptoms or an unexplained fever is being urged to get tested.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, sore throat, dry cough and shortness of breath.
The mobile clinic will be at Yenda's Memorial Park on Thursday from 9.45am to 11.45am.
It then moves to Griffith's visitor information centre car park from 12.45pm to 4.15pm, and again on Friday from 8.30am to midday.
The clinic will stop at Restyn Park in Hanwood from 1pm to 3pm on Friday.
"We have tested over 10,000 people across the Murrumbidgee, and while no positive cases have emerged recently we must maintain our vigilance," Ms Field said.
"Testing is the only way we can detect early outbreaks from community transmission and begin contact tracing quickly before it spreads."
People can also get tested at Griffith Base Hospital, local GPs and the federally-funded and GP-led respiratory clinic.
"I would recommend that anyone who is feeling even the slightest bit unwell should get themselves tested," Local Health Advisory Committee chairwoman Margaret King said.
"Having the mobile clinic visit Yenda, Hanwood and Griffith this week makes it even more convenient for people.
"It is critical that the good work done in the Murrumbidgee during the isolation period is not undone because of a reluctance to come forward for testing."
Testing appointments can be booked by calling MLHD's COVID-19 hotline on 1800 831 099, or by dropping in at one the locations where the mobile clinic is.
