According to Meat and Livestock Australia's National Livestock Reporting Service numbers declined with lambs showing the biggest drop.
Lamb quality was similar to that of previous sales with good numbers of well finished supplementary fed heavy lambs on offer.
Most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a firm to dearer market.
Trade-weight lambs lifted $2 to $4 with 18 to 22kg types selling from $174 to $210 with heavies to 26kg making from $200 to $228/head.
Heavy export lambs held firm to receive from $223 to $295/head. Mutton numbers were very limited and quality was very mixed. Heavy Merino ewes sold from $173 to $243/head. Crossbreds reached $220/head.
