Seeing the rain fall has brought plenty of smiles to farmers' faces and paddocks have started to grow a little greener.
The rain has left standing water around some places but one reader has found there's possibly something lurking beneath the surface.
Eagle-eyed reader Greg Adamson spotted shark fins poking up above water when driving along the Burley Griffin Way.
Sharks aren't generally believed to consider the Binya State Forest as an ideal habitat - it clearly hasn't stopped the sharks from looking for tasty morsels in the water.
The Binya artist is known for placing sculptures and decorations up around their property which vary on the season.
Mr Adamson said it was "Binya's Banksy" - after the world-famous graffiti artists known for creating seminal artwork on the sides of buildings.
