Two businesses, Calabria Family Wines and Converte, have received federal funding to enhance the manufacturing work they do in Griffith.
While it's all taxpayer dollars - our dollars - the money will be used to build on the good work these businesses do, which will mean more jobs.
The economic impacts of COVID-19 will be felt for a while yet, getting this city and the country moving will be important for all our benefit.
These grants are a good place to start.
