A driver has been caught driving with a low-range PCA while unlicenced after being stopped for driving with defective lights.

Police stopped a white ute driving east along Kookora Street at 10pm on April 12 after officers observed the rear lights on the vehicle were not working.
When officers asked the driver - a 24-year-old man - to produce a licence, the man informed police he did not have a licence and a further identification check from police confirmed the man had never held a licence.
The driver's breath test returned a positive result and he was taken to Griffith police station where a further breath analysis returned a result of 0.058.
The man was issued with a notice to attend court for driving with a low range PCA and driving while never holding a licence for the second time as well as being issued a fine for the defective lights.
In other police news, officers are investigating a vehicle fire on Ortella Street which happened over the Easter long weekend.
Officers were called to the fire on the street shortly after 4am on April 11, with Griffith Fire and Rescue members also attending the scene to extinguish the fire.
The owner of the vehicle informed police they had parked the car on the street at 5pm on April 10 and alerted police after they notice flames outside the window of the house they were in at 4am.
Police are investigating the matter.

A driver will front Griffith Local Court after receiving a second offence for driving with a low-range PCA.
Police stopped a Holden sedan travelling on Clifton Boulevard at 1am on April 12 after the vehicle was spotted heavily accelerating onto the road after turning off from Nicholls Street.
Officers pulled over the vehicle for a breath test and when asked by police how much alcohol the driver had, the driver - a 26-year-old man - informed police he had two mid-strength beers and eaten some food.
The test returned a positive result, with the man taken to Griffith police station for further analysis.
At the station, the man informed police he had drunk five Great Northern beers - with his breath analysis returning a result of 0.06.
