The third patient with a confirmed case of coronavirus in the Griffith local government area has recovered from the virus, as the Murrumbidgee Local Health District records one new case within the health district.

In a statement released on Friday morning, MLHD confirmed one new case of COVID-19 had been confirmed in the health district as of 8am on April 10, with the total tally of confirmed cases in the region - including those who have recovered - increasing to 43.
The health district also announced eight new patient recoveries, with the third case of coronavirus in the Griffith LGA recovering from the virus.
There are no active confirmed cases of the virus within the Griffith LGA according to MLHD, with all three confirmed cases having now recovered.
There has also been a further recovery in the Murrumbidgee Council area, with a total of 20 patients in the health district recovering from the virus as of 8am on April 10.
The new case was found in the Cootamundra-Gundagai LGA.
A total of 2364 people have been tested for the virus in the health district, with four people hospitalised as a result of COVID-19 and one death coming in the health district to date.

Those who are concerned and would like to speak to someone about any symptoms they may be showing are encouraged to contact the MLHD's COVID-19 hotline on 1800 831 099 and speak to a nurse who will provide information about the best course of action.
The time between when a person is exposed to the virus and when symptoms first appear is typically five to six days, although it may range from two to 14 days.
The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, sore throat and dry cough.
Members of the public are urged to minimise travel, increase personal awareness around hand hygiene and practice social distancing.
