The street has been temporarily blocked off between Railway Street and Crossing Street to cars heading east along the road after a pipe burst on Monday afternoon.
The road has seen minor damage made to the avenue in front of the Griffith McDonalds, with the burst pipe causing water to travel down along the avenue.

Traffic heading east along Banna Avenue after the Jondaryan Avenue roundabout is being diverted onto Railway Street, with an alternate path being needed to be taken to avoid the blocked road.
Griffith City Council staff are in attendance at the scene and are working to address the issue.
