The competition was played at Coffs Harbour on March 11-14 with Baddock's side finishing in fifth and only narrowly missing out on playing finals.
The talented touch star is no stranger having played on the national stage several times since turning 18.
"It was only the second time I had represented Southern Suns," she said.
"I have represented teams such as Hornets and Sydney Rebels in the past, and this was my first time playing in a mixed team at National."
Baddock was captain of the Stars alongside Tim Robinson and was an honour to have that privilege.
"It was a great honour to be named as captain of this team alongside Tim Robinson who also was a member of the Australian team who travelled to the World Cup," she said.
"It was a wonderful way to finish my best 12 months of touch football to date, and it really made me want to lead from the front, even in a mixed side."
The Southern Stars encapsulates a big area, and despite only being able to get one training run in together before the event, Baddock thought the side came together well.
"We came together well and improved significantly throughout the carnival - only just missing the semi-finals by one try," she said.
"A number of our teammates were attending NTL for the first time, so for them to experience the highest level of touch in Australia was great to see."
Baddock finished the competition with five tries and was happy with how she played.
"I have been very lucky to be able to maintain most of my fitness," she said.
"I was able to use the experience I have gained in the past twelve months in the World Cup and State Cup to assist the coach's with our teams game plan and putting that into action."
Baddock wasn't the only Griffith representation at the event with Don Barbero playing in the Southern Stars Men's 60s side who finished fourth while Frank Scarfone, Nick Altin and Connor Lane picked to officiate at the event with Lane receiving his Opens Level 5 Badge at the competition.
