Club members Angelo Virago and Barry Day rode to Can Assist president Olga Forner's residence on Friday afternoon, boasting big smiles on their faces and a cheque in their hands.
"Really and truly I just feel so overwhelmed, and I'm truly grateful for the support that Ulysses Motor Club has given us," Ms Forner said.
"This money means such a great deal to us because it strengthens our capacity to be able to support and care for our patients."
The Ulysses Club, which is celebrating 25 years of age in 2020 and is comprised of over 150 members in the Griffith area, wants to help locals suffering from cancer.
With contributions like theirs toward CanAssist and cancer research, a modern diagnosis does not always mean a death sentence.
"It's a worthy cause and that's why we support them," Ulysses Club vice-president Angelo Virago said.
"We do all of this for our local community."
