In the division one grand final, Pastro Custom Ag made a strong start to their game against Griffith RE with Brendan Giason and Jackson Goman giving their side an early 2-0 lead.
Griffith RE was able to get themselves back into the game with Johane Oberholzer getting over in the corner before Lily-Belle Misiloi dove over to bring the side's level.
Giason was able to score his second of the night before Giordan Pastro got over to give Pastro Custom Ag another two-try lead before Oberholzer scored her second of the game to see the score sitting at 4-3 at the break.
The two sides traded tries early in the second half with Simon Bonetti and Damien Giason getting over for Pastro Custom Ag while Blake Potts and Tumokai Poka getting over for Griffith RE.
Misiloi got over to bring Griffith RE level before Greg Bonetti restored the Pastro side's advantage.
Isaiah Potts did well to keep the ball alive in the end zone after making a dart from dummy half before passing off to Todd Granger to get Griffith RE back level before they took the lead for the first time in the game when Poka got over for his second on the final siren to give Griffith RE an 8-7 win and the title.
In division two, after only winning two games all season, Nutcrackers were able to take out the title with a 9-7 win over Linx.
The Nutcrackers side was able to take an early lead with Eliza Baddock making a dart from dummy before passing off to Emma Woolnough who dived over.
The sides traded tries in the early stages of the first half with Dwayne Campbell and Bucky Gautusa getting over for Linx while Andrew Smith scored for Nutcrackers to make it 2-2.
Linx scored two in quick succession with Gautusa scoring his second before Chris Richards gave Linx a two-try lead. Brad Clark was able to score his first for Nutcrackers to see the margin sitting at 4-3 at the break.
Clark scored his second soon after the halftime break before the Nutcrackers took the lead when Sarah Dossetor got over the line.
Gautusa completed his hat-trick to bring the sides back level before Clark scored his third to give the Nutcrackers the lead at 6-5.
Sophie Bozic got over to extend the Nutcrackers lead to two tries before Gautusa scored his fourth to keep Linx within a try.
Dossetor and Bozic scored their second tries of the game to give their side a three-try lead late in the game before Dean Schmetzer got over to give his team some late hope.
It wasn't to be however with Nutcrackers securing the title with only their second win of the season with the final score sitting at 9-7.
