Griffith FC has made a strong start to their life in the Capital Football National Youth Premier League with two wins and a draw from their clashes with Gungahlin United on Saturday at Ted Scobie Oval.

Unfortunately, the under 13s had to wait another week to run out in the Griffith FC colours after Gungahlin had to forfeit the early clash.
It was a tight clash in the under 14's opener with the points being shared after a 2-2 draw.
Griffith FC went into the half time break trailing 1-0 after Gungahlin struck first in the 26th minutes and found themselves 2-0 down midway through the second half.
Pearson Kasawaya got one goal back for the Griffith side four minutes after they went two goals down before Bailey Morrissey was able to find the back of the net in the 70th minute to see the points shared.
The under 16s enjoyed a strong start to the season, picking up a 4-1 win over Gungahlin.
Dean Armanini, Mohamad Fayazi, Dominic Nardi and Reuben Donadel were able to find the back of the net for the Griffith side to see them secure Griffith FC's first three points in the NPL Youth competition.
Griffith FC will be at home again this weekend when they take on Canberra Olympic.
