Memorial Park will be filled with the sound of music on Friday for a bushfire relief concert orchestrated by Griffith City Council, the Murrumbidgee Regional Conservatorium of Music and Western Riverina Arts.

A range of musical styles will be on the lineup, with artists Jorja Dalton, Anastasia Comarin, Ben Ceccato and Ali Ratcliffe taking to the stage alongside band Happy Avenue, jazz group Little Big Band and the Griffith City Band.

Event organiser and manager of the Griffith Regional Theatre and Art Gallery Raina Savage said the concert was a way for the city to give back to those communities who now need to rebuild from next to nothing.

"These communities now need to rebuild," Ms Savage said.

"That is going to take a long time ... they're still seeing a burnt landscape."

Businesses and communities have rallied around the event, with items such as musical equipment, food and beverages and further materials all donated to the event.

Ms Savage said the response from people eager to contribute to the event has been "overwhelming" and all proceeds from the event will be going to the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and WIRES Australia.

Casella Family Brands and the Yenda Brewing Company will be running a bar during the event, while members of the Yenda Rotary Club, the Griffith Avanti Rotary and Griffith's Sikh community will be providing food for attendees.

The event is due to kick off from 4pm, with tickets to the event costing $25 for adults if purchased before 5pm on Thursday or $30 at the gate and $10 for children between the ages of five and 17, with those under the age of five allowed in for free.
