Griffith Base Hospital has begun to administer testing for coronavirus, but all presentations at the hospital have returned negative to date.

A spokeswoman for the Murrumbidgee Local Health District said five people have been tested for the virus at the hospital since Monday for the virus, but no-one who has presented to the hospital has tested positive.
"Griffith Base Hospital have had five presentations of people who were feeling unwell and were tested for COVID-19," the spokeswoman said.
"All tests returned negative.
"There have been no positive cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee region to date."
Official advice from the Murrumbidgee Local Health District and NSW Health to anyone with concerns they may have coronavirus is to isolate yourself from other people and then call your doctor, your local emergency department or Healthdirect on 1800 022 222 so appropriate procedures can be put in place in anticipation of your arrival.
NSW Health chief health officer Dr Kerry Chant said on Friday those looking to visit patients in hospitals also need to take care to ensure any illnesses are not transmitted.
"What we're suggesting is some common sense approach to visiting hospitals," Dr Chant said.
"Before visiting anyone at the hospital, the first pivotal thing is if you have any symptoms of an illness - albeit incredibly mild - please defer visits."
A total of 26 cases have been confirmed within NSW as of 12pm on March 6, with 22 new cases confirmed since March 1.
According to data from the World Health Organisation, a total of 95,270 cases have been confirmed across 79 countries as of March 6.
