A man was arrested and charged with supplying prohibited drugs of commercial quantity, and was due to face Hay Local Court on August 5, 2019, but failed to appear.
The man allegedly fled the jurisdiction and last month, February 5, detectives were advised the man had re-entered Australia.
He was arrested at Melbourne Airport, and has spent the last month in custody in Victoria for an unrelated matter.
On March 4, the 27-year-old man was released from Victorian custody and detectives from the Murrumbidgee Police District extradited him to NSW later that day.
The man was refused bail and will appear at Albury Local Court today, March 5.
