Despite being drawn into a tough opponent first up, coach Ross Marando is looking on the bright side.
"It was good luck to be drawn at home but unlucky to be drawn against a powerhouse club like Olympic," he said.
"That is the magic of the cup though, and you never know what could happen."
The game against Olympic will be Yoogali FC first of the season as they gear up for the local competition and Marando is confident on the numbers he will have available.
"We have had pretty good numbers at training," he said. "There are a couple with injuries, but once they get back on the park, we will be good. The boys are keen to get back out there."
The clash between Yoogali FC and Wollongong Olympic will be played next Saturday, March 14 at Yellowtail Park with kick-off still to be decided.
