Fun run to help Griffith's Can Assist begins Sunday

The fun run returns to raise money for Can Assist. The nine kilometre course leaves from Jubilee Oval to Lake Wyangan. Competitors will need to be at the start line at 7.30am and registration is open until 7.15am. Buses will be available to bring people back to Jubilee Oval from 10.30am.

Exhibition celebrates art by western Riverina women
Art by 10 Riverina women will be the focus of Each for Equal at Griffith Regional Art Gallery. The exhibition is timed to coincide with International Women's Day in March and celebrates cultural, social and economic achievements by women.

The Piccolo Family Farm will celebrate all things local with their family-friendly festival on Mallinson Road. Gates open at 11am, tickets are $70 for adults and $30 for children.

All About Women is an event encouraging people to push boundaries and asks us questions about gender, justice and equality. Griffith City Library will live stream the event from Sydney Opera House on Sunday from 11am until 4pm. The event is free but numbers are limited, book your space on 6962 8300.

Soroptimists offer a friendly Aussie welcome
Griffith Soroptimists will host a classic Australian sausage sizzle to welcome city's overseas workers. The grill will be fired up at midday on Sunday at City Park.

The Coro Club hosts Remedy from 7.30pm on Friday. Tony L will entertain guests at the Southside Leagues Club's Alpen Terrace from 8.30pm on Friday, which will be followed by Powderworks, a tribute to Midnight Oil at 9pm on Saturday. Crooked Crows are performing at Hotel Victoria from 8pm Saturday. Perfect Strangers will perform at the Area Hotel from 10pm on Saturday. Sunday sessions start at the Southside Leagues Club from 2.30pm with Pocketjazz and Hilary Geddes.

Fresh food, crafts and more at Griffith Showgrounds
Griffith Rotary's markets open from 7am until midday on Sunday. Stallholders will have everything from fruit and veg to home-made craft.
