However, those from the Riverina who are unable to travel can still take part in proceedings, as Griffith City Library will be live streaming the event from 11am to 4pm on Sunday.
"We are really excited to partner with the Sydney Opera House to bring the All About Women talks to Griffith," library manager Shiron Kirkman said.
"Live streaming allows regional communities to access programs previously only accessible by long-distance travel."
The stream will take part in the library's cutting-edge multimedia room, as three talks from the program are put on show for MIA locals.
"By supporting these initiatives we can continue to allocate further resources, bringing to the community a diverse range of events," Ms Kirkman added.
Professor Gina Rippon will unpack the ideas blended between the covers of her groundbreaking book, The Gendered Brain.
She dismantles the concept that there are distinct differences between male and female brains, insisting that behaviour is linked to life experiences, not gender.
Astrophysicist Jo Dunkley will travel through the cosmos in her lecture, unearthing the greatest women from throughout history who were given little recognition for their incredible achievements.
Finally, journalist Jill Stark, broadcaster Yumi Stynes and founder of 'Sober in the Country' Shanna Whan, will together host an intimate and nuanced conversation about how we navigate our own relationships with alcohol.
You can book your spot for free at wrl.eventbrite.nsw.gov.au or by calling Griffith City Library on 6962 8300.
