NSW State of Origin coach Brad Fittler will be heading west on a visit to Griffith.
The focus will be on helping young people become their 'best self' with a focus on sleep, hydration, physical activity and friends - a similar motto he'll deliver to the NSW Origin squad.
Griffith PCYC club manager Graeme Cotton said the rugby league great's visit was all about improving young people's wellbeing.
It's not just about taking of yourself physically, Fittler's advice will cover other people who can offer help in times of need.
"It's designed to provide awareness to the community for issues surrounding young people particularly," Mr Cotton said.
"He's very passionate for making a difference in young people's lives, he's said that PCYC is a perfect vehicle for that."
A Community Footy Festival is open to the public at Woodside Hall at the Griffith Showgrounds from 4.30pm on Thursday.
Fittler will also visit Marian Catholic College and Murrumbidgee Regional High School to speak to year 11 and 12 students.
