The Griffith side will take on O'Connor Knights in the third round on a date between March 9 and March 22 in Griffith.
Should Yoogali SC get past the O'Connor side, they will then take on the winner of ANU FC and Narrabundah FC in another game at home in early April.
Yoogali SC's Luke Santolin was pleased with the way the draw played out.
"To be apart of the live draw is something we haven't experienced," he said. "Our hope was to get a home game, and that was what we got, which is exciting."
The Yoogali SC side was set to take on their cup opponents in a friendly before they would now meet in the cup and Santolin is unsure if that game will now go ahead.
The Griffith side got their preparation for their first season in NPL2 underway with their first preseason trial against Goulburn Valley Suns in Shepparton.
Yoogali SC was the stronger of the two sides in the first half and took a 1-0 lead into the break before the home side scored five goals in fifteen minutes after the break to take a 5-1 win.
Santolin said there were plenty of positives to take from the game with his side able to create plenty of chances in the first half before the fitness levels made the real difference.
"Knowing that we have only been training for two weeks and they have been training since Christmas we can take plenty of positives from the game," he said.
