Barellan batted first and Cooper Rand struck an early blow when he dismissed Barellan's dangerous Bailey Winters in the third over of the innings.
Barellan's innings gained some momentum and at 4/86 in the 21st over the home side looked like posting a winning score.
However tight bowling from Reif Leach 2/4, Digby Jones 2/8 and Jordon Williams 2/6 backed up by some good fielding restricted Barellan to a final total of 107.
A key moment came when Barellan's two retired batsmen came together with 3 overs of their innings remaining.
A great catch by Ryan Andrighetto stopped the partnership without the addition of any runs.
Griffith innings again started badly and at 3/13 were in trouble. Then Owen Robinson (26 retired) and Jai Kenny (25 retired) played a match changing partnership. Griffith's fourth wicket did not fall until the score reached 78.
Griffith then lost five wickets as the score edged up towards the target. A couple of big hits from Kadon Williams eased the tension.
It was left to Oliver Young and Jordon Williams to see Griffith over the line for the loss of eight wickets.
