While Nick Baird (6) fell early, captain Dean Aylett (38) and Dayon Johnson (32) were able to get their side back on track with a 75-run partnership.
The middle-order stood tall for the home side with Simon Bunyan (48) leading the way while Luke Arandt (11), Blake Aylett (10) and Jack Cattanach (20) getting starts to see Hay reach 9/191 off their 45 overs.
Fergus Cattanach (2/13) picked up a couple of early wickets before Sam Robinson (18), Ben Walsh (25) and Josh Moncrief (16) tried to give their side a chance in the tough chase.
The Hay side was too strong however with Jack Cattanach (6/11) proving too hard for the Ardlethan/Barellan players to deal with as they lost 6/27 to be bowled out for 108 and hand Hay a convincing win and the Cup over winter.
