Senior Constable Ellen Leadbitter is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and her co-workers in the police force are looking to provide plenty of entertainment to help raise money.
"She has been with us now for the last four years and has been with the cops for about 11 years and last October she was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer," Organisers said.
"That is after having spent the last two years fighting other forms of cancer, so she has had a pretty rough trot.
"She has been off work since her diagnosis, and she is slowly coming back to work, but given we are somewhat regional, she has to seek treatment in Sydney and Canberra, so the costs are huge with fighting this disease."
While there is sure to be plenty of action on the field, there will be plenty of prizes on offer for spectators in attendance with sporting memorabilia auctions including a Kookaburra bat signed by former Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin, a Gray Nicholls bat signed by Australia opener David Warner along with signed jerseys from the major footballing codes.
There will also be raffles held at the change of innings with some prizes valued at over $1000.
All of the money raised on the night will be going straight to Ellen and her family.
"We decided to organise Elle's T20 Bash with all money raised going directly to Elle and her family to try and offset some of these costs," they said.
"Probably the bigger thing is to show her that she isn't along and we are showing that her blue family are standing beside her as well as the community.
"They have really dug deep and sponsored the event, and it is a real show that the community is behind Elle as much as we are."
There will also be a former WBBL player in attendance with former Melbourne Renegade, ACT Comet and NSW Breakers player Nicole Goodwin coming down to show her support.
The game will get underway at 6.30pm on Saturday after the first grade clash between Exies Eagles and Leagues at Exies Oval.
