Two people called 000 at around midnight on Saturday after driving past a property on the Kidman Way in Tharbogang and seeing a fire in the paddock.
Police arrived on scene after the calls, and witnessed the flames completely engulfing the Nairn harvester, with flames reaching three to four meters high.
Parked just behind the treeline, the surrounding trees had also started to burn.
Hanwood Rural Fire Service and Griffith Fire and Rescue came and managed to completely extinguish the blaze by 1.14am.
Investigations couldn't determine the cause of the fire, and it remains unclear if any accelerant was used.
Police canvassed the surrounding area but did not locate items or persons of interest.

No one was observed near the fire, and seeing as the blaze occurred on a large farming property with no houses close by, neighbours did not see anything suspicious.
The victim told police he had parked the machine there there day before, in preparation for harvesting on Monday.
He informed them it was insured for roughly $75,000.
