The home side won the toss and elected to bowl and was immediately on the front foot with captain Theo Valeri taking quick wickets.
The Griffith skipper was on a hat-trick in the third over as he took the wickets of Ben Turner (0) and Samuel Smith (0) in consecutive deliveries and while Trent Charlton saw off the hat-trick delivery, it was only a small reprieve for Junee.
Valeri completed a five-wicket haul his seventh over to have Junee really behind the eight-ball at 5/11 after 13 overs.
Chris Smith and L Orr (6) looked to try and build their side's innings however, when Smith (10) became Connor Bock's first victim trouble struck again for the visitors.
Junee lost 4/2 with Ben Signor (2/17) and Bock (2/15) doing the damage to see the visitors fall to 9-23 after 26 overs.
Nathan Charlton (21) added some late runs, but when he became the sixth wicket to fall to Valeri (6/9), Junee was bowled out for just 48.
The Griffith skipper was pleased to see his side put their plans into action.
"We won the toss and elected to bowl, and we were able to put the balls in the right areas and get it done," he said.
"We know it (Exies No.1 pitch) always does a little bit early on, and we were able to take advantage of that new ball."
Griffith did lose a wicket on their way to success with Mitch Williams-Hedges being trapped in front of the stumps by Nathan Charlton (5), but it was only a small bump in the road for Griffith.
Dean Bennett (32*) and Haydn Pascoe (8*) were able to guide their side to the nine-wicket win with 45 over still in hand.
It has been a successful year for the Griffith side who weren't sure how much representative cricket would be played this year after the changes made to the O'Farrell Cup.
They have managed to hold on to the revitalised Hedditch Cup for eight challenges after taking it from arch-rivals Leeton back in December.
Griffith also held the Creet Cup before losing it to Hay.
