You can rest secure in the knowledge that whether you've been locked out, or want to keep others locked out, the key to your success is a quality locksmith.

The team from Arrow Locksmith and Security are ready to bring their skills to bear when you need to do everything from getting a key cut to installing a full home security system.

After previously operating as a mobile service, Arrow Locksmith and Security will be celebrating the opening of its new shopfront at 30 Bridge Road on February 28

Owner Darren Turner said his team of locksmiths can provide a range of skills and services relating to keys, locks and security.

"We can assist in an array of services, such as cutting keys for home, office, padlock, windows and motor vehicle," Darren said.

"We can supply and install your alarm and CCTV for home and office, re-key your locks if you have misplaced your keys, been broken into or purchased a new home and simply want your locks changed. New door furniture? We can supply that too.

"We also have novelty products such as NRL themed football keys and location tracking key rings for the people that always lose their keys."

The business employs a full time locksmith and an apprentice.

"Ed, our qualified locksmith, has over 20 years experience in the field," Darren said. "Our apprentice locksmith Wade started with us last year and has already gained a lot of knowledge.

"Helena is our junior administration assistant. She joined us late last year to help out with all things administration so the boys can continue with their locksmith work.

"We pride ourselves on the work we do."

As well as competitive pricing, Arrow Locksmith and Security offers a call-out system servicing Griffith and surrounding towns.

One current trend of the security industry is the installation of residential CCTV and alarm systems.

"The added security gives people peace of mind when they are at work or away from home for longer periods of time," Darren said.

"People should seek professional advice for alarms and CCTV installations to ensure that they are getting a system that will suit their needs and that they have the right products to enable them to take advantage of the features on offer to maximise their home security.

"We also recommend seeking professional advice when it comes to new keys for your motor vehicle as they can be costly. However, we may be able to provide quality products at a cheaper price."

The grand opening of Arrow Locksmith and Security at 30 Bridge Road, Griffith will be held from 9am to 11am and feature barbecue and drinks on offer, as well as a lucky door prize.
