The Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award, Grafton's premiere art prize, has opened for exhibition at Griffith Regional Gallery. The biennel art prize features drawings covering hyper-realism to expressive and poetic imagery. The JADA will be on exhibition until February 16.
COMMUNITY CRAFT
Communal art project takes centre stage
Residents are being invited to contribute to an upcycled community art project which will be exhibited at A Day in the Orchard later this year. The project is led by Jess Forster and Kristy-lee Agresta, and contributions are welcome from the community. The work is being hosted at the Griffith Regional Art Gallery. Residents of all ages can help create something unique every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm until March.

The Coro Club hosts the Ben Ceccato Duo from 7.30pm on Friday. F I I K will entertain guests at the Southside Leagues Club's Alpen Terrace from 8.30pm on Friday, which will be followed by Max Jones at 8.30pm on Saturday. Crooked Crows will perform at the Area Hotel from 10pm on Saturday. Sunday sessions start at the Southside Leagues Club from 2.30pm with The Stringers performing.
GRAPE STOMPING
Ever wanted to enjoy the heritage vintage experience?
If you've ever wanted to see how wine has traditionally been made from picking the fruit to stomping the grapes, now's the season for it. Bella Vita Tours is running farm tours where people can make their own grape juice on Tuesdays and Saturdays until March. Contact Bella Vita Tours for more information.

Fresh food, crafts and more at Griffith Showgrounds
Griffith Rotary's markets open from 7am until midday on Sunday. Stallholders will have everything from fruit and veg to home-made craft.
