After two weeks of abandoned games due to extreme heat and then heavy rain, both side will be itching to get back out in the middle as they push towards finals with four games remaining.
An outright win could be crucial for both sides come to the end of the season.
As it stands, the Eagles are currently 13 points ahead of fifth-placed Leagues having picked up six points from the washout round last weekend. With the Eagles still having a bye before the end of the season, in round 18, getting points this weekend could prove the difference with the Panthers playing four games before the end of the season.
For the Cougars, it would see the side extend their lead at the top of the table. The Coro side is currently three points ahead of Exies Diggers, but with the Diggers having the bye this weekend it is an excellent chance for the Cougars to extend that lead to 15-points.
After the Eagles took the first meeting between the two sides, the Cougars have taken the other two with an outright win in the timed clash followed up with a bonus-point win in the 40-over match-up.
With the weather looking clear on the weekend the game should get underway at 4.30pm on Saturday.
