Mr Cotton comes home bringing a wealth of experience, having spent seven years at PCYC clubs in Nelson Bay and Maitland and two years as the PCYC youth development manager.
He's also spent the last few years as a high performance coach, trainer and consultant across many sectors including councils, manufacturing, and construction.
"One of the driving forces for returning to PCYC was the opportunity to again work for an organisation that has and continues to deliver such a wonderful mission," Mr Cotton said.
"I'm looking forward to improving the quality of what we deliver, from customer service right through to the actual experience children and or adults enjoy. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen."

He'll be working alongside Constable Jason Pietroboni, who said he was confident Mr Cotton would make a positive difference to the young people of Griffith.
"It is great to have someone with Graeme's experience and knowledge - you can already see the difference," Constable Pietroboni said.
"I look forward to working with Graeme as we establish, or in some cases re-establish, community links and deliver positive youth outcomes for Griffith."
