For the first time, this season Griffith lost the toss and had to bowl first. After seven balls Wagga was 2/1, but then a big hitter Charlie Tyndall came in and took the game away from Griffith.
His batting was more in keeping with a 20/20 game, but it was effective. His 57 runs in quick time and some sloppy fielding and 25 byes helped Wagga to a total of 127.
Christian Dall'est (3/15)again led the Griffith attack with an accurate spell. Nick McGibbon also bowled well to pick up 2/4 off four overs.
Griffith lost their first wicket off the first ball of their innings. Harry Morel and Manon Dave were both run out to leave Griffith at 3/17. Things got worse from there as the score went to 7/30.
Owen Robertson and Christian Dall'est gave the innings some respectability with a partnership of 38 before Robinson (22) was dismissed. Dall'est (21) was the last batsman to depart with the score on 75.
