At around midnight on Thursday, police motioned for the driver of a Jeep to pull over, who refused and sped away from them.
Officers engaged in a pursuit, yet stopped a short time later because of the dangerous manner in which he was driving.
Police then spotted him driving towards Leeton on Irrigation Way, and started up the chase once more.
However this was also short-lived, as his driving continued dangerously.
The man and Jeep were found in the backyard of a Yanco property, their movements having been closely monitored by Polair.
Crime Manager Detective Acting Inspector Tim Clark said it was an excellent example of police resources in action.
You never know when they are going to be around.
