One of the new Kindy kids is Alessio Calabria, who has been looking forward to his first day of big school ever since his big brother started Kindergarten at Griffith East Public School in 2019.
He's looking forward to following in his brothers footsteps, playing plenty of games, and making heaps of friends, and his mum Carly Calabria is confident he'll make plenty of those.
"He's just very happy, easy-going, and easy to get along with," Mrs Calabria said.
"He cannot wait to go there and get into it. He's beside himself."

Alessio is only five years old, but he's already earned a reputation for being an all-round cool kid who possesses a precocious sense of fashion.
His aunty is completely convinced that one day Alessio will grow up to become a teen heartthrob when he enters high school.
"We get told that a lot," Mrs Calabria said.
