Griffith farmer-turned-poet Stuart Clarke will be giving a rollicking reading from a selection of his best bush poems, which feature an eclectic mix of local legends and true stories from all around the region.
Mr Clarke's poems recount tales from all around Griffith, Hillston, Rankin Springs, and Hay in a bid to revive the spirit of the good old days and ensure those stories don't get forgotten.
"There are a lot of local legends and stories that happened over the years, and those stories will disappear if they're not written down somewhere," Mr Clarke said.
"I want those stories to be remembered."
The park's Australia Day celebrations will also feature some boisterous bush ballads performed by the band Stickie Fingers, who will serenade visitors throughout the day with classic Aussie songs.
There will also be a return of the park's classic Australia Day breakfast, which will be served between 8am and 10am at Myall Park Hall.
Pioneer Park curator Bonnie Owen said she wanted to make this year's Australia Day celebrations to throw a spotlight on the artistic talent bubbling away in Griffith.
"It's a celebration of our local talent and skill, and our love of the arts and of music," Ms Owen said.
"We want to express that through local talents - our bush poets and musicians."
Ms Owen will then hold a whirlwind tour of the park from her train, where she will take visitors on a guided tour of the park's long and storied history.

Park manager Raina Savage said this year's Australia Day would hone in on the local stories and people that make up the Griffith community.
"We decided to re-purpose the Australia Day breakfast and make it something a little special this year," Ms Raina said.
"We wanted to engage people more with the purpose of the museum, which is to celebrate local history and culture."
Tickets for the Poet's Breakfast are $15, and can be bought at Pioneer Park or online through poetsbreakfast.eventbrite.com.au
The Poet's Breakfast will be followed by Griffith City Council's Australia Day Ceremony at 10am, where they will be handing out their Australia Day Awards and Australian citizenships.
