Essential Energy crews are currently responding to multiple reports of unplanned power outages in Griffith and surrounding areas.
At 8.08am the power supply cut out to 534 customers in Griffith and Lake Wyangan, and throughout the morning power was also cut to 32 buildings in Hanwood, 42 in Widgelli, and 92 throughout Beelbangera, Yenda, Bilbul, and Myall Park.
The power outages come in the aftermath of Sunday's thunderstorms, which led to widescale blackouts around Griffith, Yoogali, Coleambally, Goolgowi, Tabbita, Widgelli and Hanwood.
Essential Energy said they do not have know when power will be restored, but that crews will be working as quickly as safety allows to restore supply.
Acting Operations Manager, Central, Shane Scott reminds the public to stay at least eight metres away from damaged or fallen powerlines.
"Always treat powerlines as live and remember that anything in contact with them, such as cars, trees or fences, can conduct electricity and pose a danger," Mr Scott said.
"We encourage residents to immediately report fallen powerlines, network damage, fires or trees contacting powerlines to Essential Energy on 13 20 80 or call Triple-0 if the situation is life threatening."
Customers are encouraged to report a power outage on 13 20 80 or visit essentialenergy.com.au/outages for updates.
