Admirers of art came to the Griffith Regional Art gallery to gawk at their first exhibition for the year and get a taste of what's in store for the rest of 2020.
The gallery's year started off with the ever-prestigious Jacaranda Acquisitive Drawing Award, a collection of some of the most impressive drawings regional Australia has to offer.
The exhibition featured drawings a dizzyingly diverse range of styles, from masterfully crafted works of hyper-realism to the most boundary-pushing abstract artworks.
This was the first of many exhibitions to come in 2020, and visitors can pick up a copy of the program brochure at the art gallery.
