Coach Tim Rand was pleased with the way his side last weekend were able to perform after setting what he thought was a below-par score.
"I thought we would have to score around 190 because the pitch was playing well and the outfield wasn't too bad," he said.
"We were able to take early wickets, and it was a good performance with the ball and in the field by the boys."
Haydn Pascoe was the pick of the bowlers last week with six wickets, and Rand was pleased to see him back bowling.
"He hadn't been doing too much bowling because he was concerned about his knee," he said.
"He is tough to play when he is taking the ball away, and he bowled well."
Rand was pleased to be able to head into this weekend without having to make any changes.
"It will be the first time this year we haven't had to change the side due to injuries or unavailability," he said.
This weekend the Griffith side will face off again their nearest rival in Leeton after the Wolves took the challenge left vacant when Cootamundra was forced to withdraw.
The two sides met in the opening challenge of the season which saw Griffith bring the Hedditch Cup into their possession.
"It was good to see Leeton take up the challenge when it became available," he said.
"It is always a good game when we take on our nearest rivals."
The Leeton side will be sending across a young side lead by Jordan Camm who will be looking to become the first team this season to knock over Griffith's Hedditch Cup side.
The first ball will be sent down at Exies Oval at 10am on Sunday.
