It had been a tough start to the season for the Panthers who were sitting at the bottom of the table, but the two straight wins have the Leagues side sitting just one-point behind Exies Eagles.
Leagues captain Paul Plummer is pleased to see his side hitting form after the break.
"It was a great way to start after the Christmas break," he said. "We needed the points since we were sitting in last, so it was just what we were after."
Plummer has put the turn around to the all-round team effort starting to come together.
"If you look at the last couple of weeks it has been great team performances," he said.
"Ryan (Greenaway) has been playing well with the bat and Teei has played well for us in recent weeks after stepping up (from second grade) for us which has been a bit of a bonus."
Leagues were able to name their strongest side of the season on the weekend to help them take the win over Hanwood, and Plummer was hopeful of having a similar line-up for their clash with Coro.
"Kierren (Williams) is away this weekend, and he picked up four wickets against Hanwood so he will be missed," he said.
"We have plenty of bowling at our disposal. Ryan (Greenaway) and myself didn't bowl against Hanwood, so we will just have to pick up his workload."
It will be a tough task if Leagues are to extend their undefeated streak to three games when they take on a Coro side who are sitting on top of the table. Coro skipper Haydn Pascoe and Dean Bennett have both found form in recent weeks so they will be two crucial wickets the Panthers will need to pick up early.
"There are a couple of blokes at the top and Haydn is definitely one of them," Plummer said.
"He took six wickets in Hedditch on the weekend so he can be destructive with both bat and ball."
A win for the Cougars would see them maintain their spot at the top of the table which they currently hold on percentage just ahead of Exies Diggers.
It will be the fourth game under lights for the Panthers in a row, and Plummer knows what his side will need to do if they are to be successful.
"If we can win the toss and put runs on the board that will be key," he said. "We aren't too worried about when the game is played it's just the way the fixtures fall."
The first ball at Exies Oval will be bowled at 4.30pm on Saturday.
