KX450F and Mitch Cooper Plumbing were the top division side to take the field, and it was the Mitch Cooper side who came away with an 8-3 win.
The Mitch Cooper Plumbing side made a strong start to the game with Matthew Wells, Ben Vearing, Jonathon Morris and James Fallon getting over before Noah Schmetzer got over to reduce the gap to 5-1 at the break.
Glenn Punch scored the first try of the second half for Mitch Cooper before Dwyane Campbell close the gap again for KX450F.
Morris restored his side's five lead, and Jesse Forrester made it 8-2 before Jake Villata scored a late consolation for the KX450 side.
Griff Hotel Big Cash picked up a forfeit win over Suman's Engineering while in the women's division Luna Wild and Tropeano Grape Harvesting were awarded forfeit wins.
