After winning the toss and electing to bat the Griffith side lost their first wicket on 10 with Mitchell Williams-Hedges dismissed by Hamish Starr (2/17) in the fourth over.
Pascoe and Ryan Greenaway were able to put on 18 for the second wicket before Pascoe (6) fell with the score on 29.
Greenaway was joined by his skipper Theo Valeri and the pair look to lay the foundation.
The pairing was able to add 41 runs before Greenaway (40) fell with Dean Bennett (0) following two balls later to put the pressure back on the Griffith side.
The Valeri brothers, Tom and Theo, were able to get their side out of a potentially tough situation with a 45-run partnership before Tom Valeri (33) was caught.
Theo Valeri (50) was able to keep the runs flowing for his side and with contributions from Reece Matheson (12) and Angus Boulton (11) saw their side reach 176 when they were bowled out in the 53rd over.
At the change of innings, Valeri knew his side was going to have to bowl well if they were going to restrict Temora.
"We thought that 177 would be about par so we knew we would have to bowl pretty well and to the boy's credit we did to defend that," he said.
"The deck was really good, and the outfield was a bit slow, but we knew we were going to have to bowl well."
The Griffith side made a good start as they looked to restrict the Temora side with Valeri striking in the third over. The visiting team found it hard going with Haydn Pascoe taking two wickets in as many balls and while they were able to see off the hat-trick it provided little respite.
Pascoe would take six wickets in eight overs to turn the screws on Temora with Mark Stimson (47) the only batsman to make a start with Dean Bennett taking the final two wickets to see Temora bowled out for 81.
Valeri said it was great to see Pascoe back in form with the ball.
"That is the best I have seen Haydn bowl in a long time," he said. "He had some good rhythm and was bowling with some decent pace. When he is on fire with the ball, he is hard to stop."
