A brand new initiative from the committee will see the crowning of an individual and team who raises the most money for Griffith's Can Assist - so you'd better get ready now.
Along with the traditional best-dressed winner, this year's run, walk, ride will still be tonnes of family fun, however those with a competitive streak are sure to be satisfied.
City2Lake committee president Cheryl Wood said it was the perfect chance to challenge your colleagues, or for businesses to get a team together to test their mettle against other local businesses too.
"We are all so excited, there is just two months to go," Ms Wood said.
"We are thrilled to have some great sponsors on board again this year, but as always, the more the merrier."
Last year we were on the brink of closing down, and the event saved us from that terrible reality.

The committee are also setting the bar higher to smash last year's total of $75,000.
They want to see the community rally so hard they hit the $100,000 mark.
Certainly a lot of money, but when Can Assist spent over $175,000 helping local cancer patients in 2019, it puts into perspective how important this event truly is.
"The City2Lake is our biggest fundraiser," Can Assist's Olga Forner explained.
"Last year we were on the brink of closing down, and the event saved us from that terrible reality."

100 per cent of all money raised goes directly back to over 140 local families, - of which more are coming forward for help.
"With the drought, we have more people coming to us for assistance when they otherwise wouldn't have, but times are tough and the need is so much greater," Mrs Forner said.
The City2Lake will be held on Sunday March 8, starting at 8am. With around nine kilometres from Jubilee Oval to Lake Wyangan's picnic area, participants can run, walk or ride.
