The Panthers won the toss but were on the back foot early with Ben Leach (0) falling in the first over when he was caught off the bowling of Matthew McGann.
Andrew Madden and Ryan Greenaway came together and were able to get their side back on track with a 70-run partnership before Madden (20) was run out by Jordan Whitworth.
The dismissal didn't stop the runs for the Panthers with Reece Matheson joining Greenaway in the middle and pushed their side past the 100-mark as Greenaway brought up his half-century.
With the score on 116, Matheson (15) became the second of McGann's (2/22) wickets after leaving a ball which went on to hit the stumps to see the Panthers sitting on 3/116 after 28 overs.
Greenaway (69) followed 22-runs later when he was bowled by Gulfam Ahmed, but contributions from the middle order ensured the Panthers would be able to post a defendable total.
Matt Keenan (12) and Teei Piawi (12) were both able to make double digits as the Panthers finished their 40 overs on 7/178.
The chase was going to be difficult for the Hanwood side who were without their two leading run-scorers in Brendan Hicken and Oliver Bartter both missing so the experienced duo of Dean Catanzariti and Brad Hornery would be looking to make a strong start.
The opening pairing was able to put on 18 for the first wicket before Catanzariti (5) when he was caught behind off the bowling of Tom Greenaway.
Micheal Crosato (5) was the next to follow 18 runs later when he was trapped in front by the bowling of Kierran Williams to see Hanwood sitting on 2/36 after 12.1 overs.
Williams (4/24) would prove to be the thorn in the side of Hanwood as he picked up the wickets of Neil Geltch (3), Hanwood captain Charlie Cunial (0) and McGann (5) while Jackson Hassan took the wicket of Hornery (34) to see Hanwood lose 5/20.
Jordan Whitworth and Owen Stubbs tried to get their side back on track with a 37-run partnership which was broken when Greenaway (2/28) picked up the wicket of Jordan Whitworth (14).
Jamie Whitworth joined Stubbs, and the pair were able to get their side past the 100-mark before Teei Piawi (2/20) struck to remove Jamie Whitworth (11) and Cameron McWhirter (0).
Hanwood was able to add nine runs for the final wicket before Hassan (2/28) picked up the wicket of Stubbs (27) to see Hanwood bowled out for 119, handing the Panthers a 59-run win.
