It was a close encounter in the Griffith Touch Association women's competition when Sisters took on Luna Wild on Monday evening.

After making a late start, it was Luna Wild who was able to score the first try of the match with Milla Parr getting over the line, but it was short-lived with Megan Polkinghorne getting over in the corner.
Sisters were then able to take the lead with Eliza Baddock getting over, but once again the lead was wiped away quickly with Louise Robertson getting over after a break from Jenna Richards.
Serenity Amiatu dove over the line after stepping past the Luna Wild defence to give her side a 3-2 lead at the break.
Quick ball movement after the break saw the Sisters side push their lead out to two tries with Baddock getting over for her second.
Richards was able to get the ball down before being tagged to bring the margin back to one try, but Mele Lolotonga extended the lead to 5-3.
Georgia Fuller and Ella Morrissey got over for Luna Wild to bring the sides back level midway through the first half.
The sides traded tries from the remainder of the game with Richards, Mila Paton and Fuller getting over for Luna while Baddock, Lolotonga and Neda Amiatu scored for Sisters to see the game finish level at 8-all.
In the other women's game, Snows Excavations were able to maintain their perfect start to the season with a 17-8 win over Tropeano Grape Harvesting.
In the men's competition, Marchiori Construction was able to take a convincing win over KX450F.
Mick Duncan and Michael Johns were able to get Marchiori off to a flying start before Noah Schmetzer got over KX450F.
Duncan completed a first-half hat-trick while Kris Duncan and Michael DiPaoli got over for Marchiori while Spencer scored his second for KX450F to make it 7-3 at the break.
Mick Duncan scored another two tries after the break to make it five for the game and while Spencer completed his hat-trick the Marchiori proved too strong to come away with a 14-4 win.
In the other men's top division game, Griffith Hotel Big Cash took a 7-4 win over Mitch Cooper Plumbing.
