After the Panthers won the toss and elected to bat it was the Exies side who were able to make the early impression with Jedd Budd (3) and Benjamin Virago (0) falling to the bowling of Caelan Culgan (2/17).

Alex Minato and Jordan Virago were able to rebuild their side's innings with a strong partnership before Virago (22) was the next to fall when he was bowled by Bailey Morrissey (1/17).

Angad Brar (0) and Tyler Minato (7) departed in quick succession, but Harry Morel (27) was able to make a strong contribution to the Panthers score and with Minato (60) score a half-century the Panthers set a defendable total of 167 off 24.1 overs.

It was a tough start for the Exies side who lost the wicket of Brandon Williams (0), but Jordan Williams and Morrissey were able to get their side back on track.

The Panthers were able to make the breakthrough with Budd (1/11) able to take the wicket of Williams (14) while Morrissey was bowled by Oliver Young to put the pressure on the Exies side.

Time started to be the biggest issue because while Vishva Mestrige (23) and Culgan (10) were able to get starts, they weren't able to keep up with the required run rate as they batted out their 25 overs for a total of 6/108 to give the Panthers a 59-run win.

Coro was able to bounce back from their surprise loss to the Panthers last week and reclaim top spot on the table with a six-wicket win over Hanwood.

Hanwood was able to make a decent start at the top of the order before the Cougars bowlers start to gain the upper hand.

Rahul Giran (27) and Rylan Mecham (10) attempted to add some late runs after the top order failed to fire before Liam James (2/5) claimed the final two wickets to see Hanwood bowled out for 118 in 23.5 overs.

The Cougars looked in a bit of trouble when Josh Serafin (1/5) claimed the wicket of James (0) while Patrick Mickan (3) was bowled by Giran (1/9) to have the Coro side sitting on 2/16 after 4.1 overs.

The middle-order for the Cougars had time on their side as Cooper Rand and Jack Furner got their team back on track with a 31-run stand before Rand (30) was dismissed by Charlie Tuohey (1/5).

Noah Kirkman joined Furner out in the middle, and the pair continued the good work from Rand with a 41-run stand for the fourth wicket before Hanwood gave themselves a chance with the wicket of Furner (16).

Kirkman (46*) and Bede Kenny (12*) were able to get their side home with 2.2 overs remaining and six wickets in hand.
