Diggers are now sitting nine points clear at the top of the first-grade standings and will be looking to increase that margin with Coro having the bye this weekend meaning they won't pick up any.
Leagues, on the other hand, will be looking to pick up only their second win of the season as this is their final game of 2019 as they have the bye heading into the Christmas break so will need the points if they want to maintain contact with the top four.
The Panthers side will be looking to recreate their upset win over the Diggers in round five, but that side was without skipper Theo Valeri.
In just his second game this season Trevor Richards has once again proved why he is one of the crucial wickets to pick up after scoring an unbeaten 75 against Coro in their top of the table showdown.
The Leagues top order has looked stronger in recent weeks with the return of stand-in skipper Ben Leach, but they will be sweating on the fitness of Matt Keenan, who pulled a muscle in their match last weekend, and captain Paul Plummer who was a late withdrawal after being struck on the foot at training.
The game will get underway at 4.30pm on Saturday.
