The Griffith and District Football Association are looking forward to working with Gamble who has strong credentials and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the new club. Being a former NPL, local and overseas player for Salford City in the UK, plus coaching local primary school kids to Riverina, Gamble is keen to share his experience with a neutral approach.
GDFA's coach development manager Ross Morgan is excited by the announcement.
"With our NPL club having a facelift, brand and name change, we are pleased to bring on board some fresh new coaches," he said.
"Andy is passionate about fitness and player development and has the drive to succeed. We are looking forward to the 2020 season."
Starting his football career in England, Gamble has made his way to Griffith and embedded himself into the football community and is looking forward to the challenge.
"It was a definite yes from me when asked to coach the 18s," he said.
"I'm coming in with fresh eyes, fresh start and everyone is on a level playing field. It's a great way to start the new club. I'm keen to mentor these players to aspire to become first-grade quality but at the same time mix up the training with a fun atmosphere."
Griffith FC NPL is still seeking any interested players wanting to join the under 18s and are urged to get in contact with Gamble or Morgan.
