Bennett has been enjoying a strong season at the local and representative level and has been rewarded as the young batsmen has been named as vice-captain of the under 18s Riverina side.
At club level for the Coro Cougars, Bennett has scored 141 runs at an average of 28.4 which includes a fifty against Leagues while with the ball the off-spinner has taken 10 wickets including a five-wicket haul which also came against the Panthers.
At a representative level, Bennett has already played for Riverina once this season as he was apart of the open's side who competed at the Country Championships alongside Griffith's Theo Valeri.
The selection in the under 18s side comes off the back of a strong performance at the Graham Gorrel Cup where he was able to post 43 while the Murrumbidgee/Northern Riverina side was able to defeat CAW Murray.
Bennett wasn't the only player from the Murrumbidgee Cricket Council area to be picked in the Riverina with Hay's Digby Lilburne also named in the 13-man squad.
The Riverina side will start their County Colts campaign with a clash with Newcastle on Monday, December 16 in a 50-over match.
