The Coro Cougars have jumped to the top of the third-grade table after taking a close one-wicket win over Leagues Panthers at Ted Scobie Oval on Saturday.

The Panthers made a tough start after they won the toss and elected to bat with Enzo Nolan (0) falling to the bowling of Charlie Jones in the opening over.
Sam Payne and Michael Cudmore were tasked with rebuilding their side's innings and were able to put on 41 runs before Cudmore (22) and Alex Robinson (0) were dismissed by Bohdy Martin (2/7).
Sam Payne (27) followed closely behind and as Patrick Gunn (12*) was the only other batsmen to reach double digits the Panthers were bowled out for 108 with Mark Bennett (3/6) taking three late wickets.
The Panthers would have thought they were in line for victory early as Leo Forner (2/7) picked up Rhys Carnell and Noah Kirkman (2) while Cudmore took the wickets of Cooper Rand (0) and Mark Bennett (2) to have the Cougars struggling on 4/7.
Kyle Bennett and Harrison Steele tried to rebuild their side's innings before Steele (11) fell to Fergus Shelton (1/11).
Bennett (23) continued to chip away, and contributions from Thomas Camm (18), Charlie Jones (19) and Joseph Bellicanta (11) got their side to within three runs of victory and with one wicket remaining the Cougars were able to get over the line.
Exies took on Hanwood in the Friday night game with Hanwood coming away with a one-wicket win in the final over.
Hayden Forner (55) set the tone for his side's innings while Lucas Irvin (22) and Ryan Bock (31) helped see the Exies side reach 9/184 off 35 overs.
Gulfam Ahmed (77) led the charge for Hanwood while Oliver Bartter (20) and Daniel Whitworth (17) helped to keep the score ticking over before Liam Gilbert (11*) was able to hit the winning runs with four balls remaining.
In the final game, Coleambally secured a comfortable win over Diggers.
Hannah Clarke (21) led the way early for the Nomads before a fifty to Blake McDonald (56), and a handy twenty from James Clarke (22) saw the Nomads end their innings on 7/176.
In reply, Mayur Patel (10) was the only Digger to break double digits as they were bowled out for 46.
